Nettle & Calendula Soother Bar

Nettles, calendula, oatmeal, aloe and zeolite clay come together in this skin soothing bar.

I start by slowly infusing organic extra virgin olive oil with calming organic nettles and organic calendula flowers. Then I went to work grinding the nettle and calendula into a therapeutic powder.

This bar has been lovingly formulated for daily cleansing of the face, body and hands to calm, cleanse, repair, hydrate and moisturize dry, itchy and irritated skin.

Nettle has long since been a staple in herbal skin care, renowned for its diverse healing properties. Rich in vitamins A, C, D and K, nettle also has powerful astringent qualities, which make it perfect for eczema and psoriasis.

Calendula benefits for skin are abundant. Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activities reduce inflammation and restrain bacterial infection. Its antimicrobial agents can help kill acne bacteria.

Oatmeal is a gentle exfoliate and excellent at helping to remove dead skin cells. It can help calm irritated and inflamed skin issues.

Aloe has been added to help cool and soothe inflamed or irritated skin.

Zeolitile clay adds some detox properties to this bar
